Non-Domicile status in Cyprus
The Non-Domicile status is a special tax residency status in Cyprus that provides significant tax benefits. It is available to individuals who have not resided on the island for 17 out of the last 20 years.
You can obtain Non-Domicile status after 183 days of residence in Cyprus or by meeting the 60-day rule, provided you adhere to the residency and business requirements.

How to become a tax resident of Cyprus
To become a tax resident of Cyprus and obtain Non-Domicile status, you need to:
Progressive income tax scale in Cyprus
€0 – €19,500 — 0%
€19,501 – €28,000 — 20%
€28,001 – €36,300 — 25%
€36,301 – €60,000 — 30%
€60,001 and above — 35%
  • Live in Cyprus for 183 days in a year or at least 60 days while meeting additional conditions.
  • Obtain a tax identification number (TIN).
  • Submit documents for Non-Dom status and receive the certificate within 2 weeks.
